Police in B.C. say the remains of Madison Scott who went missing in May 2011 have been found and they’re searching a rural property in Vanderhoof that is tied to the discovery.
VANDERHOOF, B.C. - The remains of a British Columbia woman missing for a dozen years have been found on a rural property in Vanderhoof, RCMP said Monday.
RCMP said in a news release issued Monday that Scott’s remains were found “days ago” in the search on the property but couldn’t say exactly when and where they were located.Police said Scott’s remains have been positively identified by the BC Coroners Service, and the family has been told and has asked for privacy.
Police issued a statement Sunday on the anniversary of her disappearance saying they needed the public’s help in finding her.
