American rapper Azealia Banks, who this week said her controversial Australian tour would be her last, will play a re-scheduled Melbourne show in Port Melbourne on Sunday
., posting on Instagram earlier that day that a previous bad experience on stage in Brisbane had influenced her decision not to perform.After her planned December 10 concert in Melbourne was cancelled on the day of the show, tickets are now on sale for a re-scheduled show at live music venue The Timber Yard.
“Thank you all so much for your patience as we rescheduled this show,” presenter Bizarro wrote in an email to ticket holders, after the concert was re-located from Festival Hall. On Tuesday, two days after her performance at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, Banks posted on Instagram that “after this run this will be my very last time touring Australia.
The controversy surrounding her tour erupted soon after a visa delay, while she was in New Zealand, that prevented her from arriving in Australia in time for her original Melbourne performance.
