Azalina says MACC’s Nazlan probe leak explained in Dewan Rakyat
De facto law and reforms minister Azalina Othman Said says she has provided an oral reply in the Dewan Rakyat on February 23 on the leak of MACC’s probe into Court of Appeal judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali and its outcome. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 7, 2023.
In a statement last night, she said Tenggara MP Manndzri Nasib and Tasek Gelugor MP Wan Saiful Wan Jan had both raised the issue. “I have also informed the Dewan Rakyat this matter is under the purview of the chief justice in accordance with clauses 3 and 3A of article 125 of the Federal Constitution.
Azalina has also asked the law firm to submit an official application to the MACC if they intend to obtain the results of the investigation.
