The Avs have officially signed forward Shane Bowers.
Bowers is the sixth player from Boston University to leave the Terriers this week, finishing his sophomore season with 11 goals and 10 assists in 37 games.
A first-round pick of the Ottawa Senators in 2017, Bowers was acquired in the blockbuster deal that sent Matt Duchene to Ottawa in November 2017. The six-foot-two, 186-pound forward had two assists in five games for Canada earlier this year at the world junior hockey championship.More from Sportsnet
