A Sydney-born grandmother is the first confirmed Australian killed in Israel after Palestinian terror group Hamas’ devastating attacks over the weekend.
Ginette Carbone, 66, was found dead outside her home in the Be-Eri kibbutz, 5km from the Gaza border, days after Hamas terrorists launched their surprise assault on Israel.

Picture: Supplied“Over the last few days they’ve just gone through all the ranges of emotion, from hearing what happened to thinking that she’s been a prisoner to hearing confirmation that she was killed,” he told the publication.

Picture: supplied The attacks claimed the lives of more than 1,000 Israelis and more than 900 Palestinians, who were killed in Israel’s retaliation bombings of the Gaza Strip.
