An Australian business is the latest in an ever-growing list of companies taking Elon Musk's Twitter to court over alleged unpaid bills after the US billionaire paid $US44 billion for the social media platform last year.

An Australian project management firm has filed a lawsuit against Twitter in a United States court seeking a total of about $1 million over alleged unpaid bills for work done in four countries, court filings show.It's seeking damages, legal costs and interest on the unpaid billsSydney-based Facilitate Corp filed the suit on June 19 in the district court for the Northern District of California claiming breach of contract over Twitter's failure to pay its invoices.

Facilitate said from 2022 through early 2023, it installed sensors in Twitter's offices in London and Dublin, completed an office fit-out in Singapore, and cleared an office in Sydney.
