Former CEO of Australian British Chamber of Commerce, David McCredie says the Australian-UK free trade agreement set to begin is “fantastic”.

“At the moment, about 86 per cent of goods going to the UK go in tariff-free but we’re going to lift that to 99 per cent of goods,” he told Sky News Australia.

“It’s great to see the end of the road on this journey and be in a place where businesses will actually be able to get their hands around it, and get onto it and start increasing that trade flow between Australia and the UK.”
