Consumers are expected to spend a whopping $23.5 billion during the sales which is an increase of 7.9 per cent compared to last year, Australian Retailers Association data shows.
Australian Retailers Association CEO Paul Zahra said the Boxing Day sales are an important date in the retail calendar and 2022 will be no exception. "Post-Christmas Australians typically turn their minds to purchases for themselves and their household," Zahra said.
