man says he and his wife were left “screaming and crying” after finding out they had won $20 million in this week’s Oz Lotto draw. The man says he is now happily abandoning his search for the best home loan after the huge win.“Last night, I remembered I had a ticket and thought I’d take a look. I was so shocked. I just turned the phone over to my wife and said, ‘have a look’,” he said.
“She started screaming and crying. What a moment! We couldn’t believe it. I can’t believe how much we cried.” When asked how he might spend his winnings, the man said buying his first family home and helping his family and friends were the top priorities. “We’ve been wanting to buy our first home for a while. We’ve been looking for a loan from different banks and there have been so many ups and downs. Not anymore!” he said.“I’ve said to her, ‘one day I will win. I don’t know how much it will be or when, but I will win.’ I’ve been thinking about it. This has been my vision,” he explained.
