Traffic on Atlas Arteria’s newest acquisition, the Chicago Skyway, has risen compared with pre-pandemic levels. “Traffic at APRR returned to the longer-term pre-COVID trend after an exceptional second half [in] 2021,” the company said. Income from the Chicago toll road’s toll fares was up 5.1 per cent on 2021 levels and up 30.8 per cent on 2019.Investors are closely watching the performance of the Chicago Skyway, with some concerned that Atlas Arteria may have overpaid for the toll road.
