The medical doctor who shot dead former Lamitan, Basilan Mayor Rosita Furigay and two others at the Ateneo de Manila University on July 24 is now being subjected to Covid-19 quarantine protocols at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology -run facility.
A police report noted that Yumol was accompanied by Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit operatives together with SWAT members on or at about 8:33 a.m. on July 30. Yumol is currently facing multiple murder charges for the fatal shooting of Furigay, her executive assistant Victor Capistrano and Ateneo security guard Jeneven Bandiala.
