Entrepreneur and C-suite leader Ryna Brito-Garcia is the founder and visionary leader of boutique airline Sunlight Air. She started the company six years

ago and has been leading its innovation and business growth ever since. Her vision of providing an all-inclusive, safe, and personal travel experience has come true.

While working in Sydney, Australia, her father expressed a desire to start an airline. Unable to find someone to take the lead, he asked Ryna to help start the project in Manila. With her Business Administration degree from SP Jain School of Global Management already completed, plus a year of work experience in Sydney, Ryna felt she was ready to take on this new challenge and assist her family.

The Philippines is renowned for its white sand beaches, vibrant culture, and natural wonders. However, many of these destinations remain underdeveloped or difficult to access. Cebu City Mayor Denies Allegations of Vote Buying Through Livelihood ProgramsCebu City Mayor Denies Allegations of Vote Buying Through Livelihood ProgramsCebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia has dismissed accusations that public funds were realigned for livelihood programs as a ploy to influence the 2025 midterm elections. Garcia asserts that the budget for these programs has been in place since previous administrations and that the current implementation is funded through allocations approved during the Michael Rama administration. Councilor Nestor Archival, who is running against Garcia in the upcoming elections, claims that P120 million intended for parks and playgrounds and P125 million earmarked for the Ecopark project were diverted to pay job order personnel distributing P5,000 each to 9,000 livelihood beneficiaries. Archival views this as “technical malversation” and alleges it is a tactic to buy votes. Garcia counters that budget realignment requires council approval and that Archival would have been aware of it.
