'Astro Bot' is famous for its creative use of Sony hardware. His biggest PS5 adventure to date will be released in September.
Sony 's popular " Astro Bot " is getting another exclusive 3D platformer for the PlayStation 5. During the nightly "State of Play" stream, Sony 's Team Asobi announced that the new adventure with the simple name " Astro Bot " will be released for Sony 's current console on September 6. The pre-order for " Astro Bot " starts on September 6, a price has not yet been set.
As soon as you approach one of the worlds, the controller becomes a space glider that you hold in your hand like a paper airplane: The player uses motion control to glide it over colorful forests, sandy beaches or volcanoes. In the search for the robot crew scattered throughout the levels, Astro's 15 new abilities once again focus on haptic feedback and the high resistance of the adaptive triggers.
For PlayStation VR 2 owners, the announcement is a big disappointment, as there was no mention of VR support. The predecessor "Astro Bot: Rescue Mission" for the first PlayStation VR is still one of the most creative VR titles ever, which even actively involved the player in the adventure. Since then, many VR fans have been eagerly waiting for a successor – or for Sony to generally support its PSVR 2 platform more strongly with first-party productions.
