Alberta\u0027s police watchdog is investigating after RCMP officers shot an armed man in Strathmore early Sunday morning.
Police say they responded around 3:30 a.m. to reports of a man causing a disturbance at a gas station. In addition to the ASIRT probe, the RCMP has also initiated an internal review process related to the incident. The involved officers’ duty status is “subject to review,” say RCMP.
