ASEAN mengutuk sekeras-kerasnya serangan udara yang dilaporkan baru-baru ini yang dilakukan oleh Angkatan Tentera Myanmar di kampung Pa Zi Gyi.
Lapor Al Jazeera, kenyataan badan dibuat itu sehari selepas tentera Myanmar mengesahkan serangan udara ke atas sebuah kawasan yang diadakan upacara oleh Kerajaan Perpaduan Nasional untuk satu unit Angkatan Pertahanan Rakyatnya .
“Ini akan menjadi satu-satunya cara untuk mewujudkan persekitaran yang kondusif bagi dialog nasional yang inklusif untuk mencari penyelesaian damai yang mapan di Myanmar, menurut ASEAN dalam kenyataan. Laporan media berkata, seramai 100 orang terbunuh apabila jet pejuang menggugurkan bom di balai raya pada pagi Selasa lalu.
