According to police, an altercation between two men led to the stabbing. The suspect fled the area on foot, police said. Sasaki was the father of four children. His partner Mira Jones-Sasaki said he was in the area looking for a friend they had been worried about.“I want the person who killed Richard to know that they killed someone who had a family and was loved,” Jones-Sasaki told the Star.With files from Kelly Skjerven, Mahdis Habibinia and Thea Gribilas
