Army conducts snipers training in Zambo Sur |

AT LEAST 275 soldiers from different infantry divisions are undergoing snipers training at Camp Sang-an that houses the Philippine Army’s 1st Infantry Division headquarters in Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, military officials said Wednesday, August 7.

He said the training, which started Tuesday, is a six-week course designed to develop the soldiers’ fighting capability particularly in shooting. Major General Roberto Ancan, Army’s 1st Infantry Division commander, encouraged the participants to take advantage of the training, learn and develop their skills in shooting and remember the core competency, war fighting.
