Appointing election losers helps strengthen Umno, says Zahid FMTNews
Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the appointments of several election contenders was to strengthen the party.
“Those who won didn’t win it all, those who lost did not lose all, so this inclusiveness was to strengthen the party, which according to others is in a state of chaos. Zahid was speaking to reporters after he attended a ministry Ramadan event. His remarks come in the wake of the appointments of several Umno election losers as members of the party’s Supreme Council.
