Local bands and musicians can apply for the series until April 30
City's Recreation and Culture division is now accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Concert Series taking place in July and August. For more information on how to apply, read the news release below:
The Sault Ste. Marie Recreation and Culture division is now accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Concert Series at Roberta Bondar Park Tent Pavilion. The Summer Concert Series takes place on Tuesday and/or Thursday nights in July and August, weather permitting. Cancellation due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled. If you or your band is interested in participating, complete and submit an application form along with a sample of your music to d.johnson@cityssm.on.ca. Applications are also available by visiting saultstemarie.ca/summerconcertseries.
Applications will be accepted until April 30. Limited dates are available, and an application does not guarantee a performance date. The Recreation and Culture division would like to thank all participating bands who performed to help make the concert series a success and the community for participating.
