Application for music industry grants now open
The Communications and Digital Ministry says the 2023 Music Industry funds are provided by the government to facilitate and encourage industry players in the production, publication and dissemination of creative music content that can be marketed domestically and internationally. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 24, 2023.
The Communications and Digital Ministry, through its agency Kumpulan MyCreative Ventures , hoped that the music Industry grants will help realise MyCreative’s commitment to supporting the country’s creative industry, especially in the music industry. “The fund is divided into three categories, namely the International Marketing and Promotion Fund, Marketability Create 2 Market Fund and Music Performance Fund,” it said.
According to MyCreative, the selection of recipients for all three funds will be based on merit to provide sustainable support in developing projects and music content that has high marketability.
