AppleVisionPro May Not Be Very Comfortable; Solution May Be Sold Separately

As impressive as the Apple Vision Pro looked during its “One more thing” reveal during WWDC 2023, one thing that was oddly only shown, but not mentioned, was the strap that sits at the top of the wearer’s head. This omission may not be something that jumps out at first glance, and understandably so, since it’s something most people take for granted when it comes to such headsets. But when it releases next year, this strap may be sold as an optional extra instead of bundled in the box.

Bloomberg reports that of the people who got to give the Apple Vision Pro a try personally, many “are finding that the metal-framed device feels to heavy after a couple hours of continuous use”. The iPhone maker has created a second strap that goes over the user’s head to address this issue, but it may not be something that comes in the box. Instead, the report notes that it may be sold as an optional extra accessory instead.
