PRIME Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s stand on the controversial littoral combat ship project is contradictory to his previously held sentiments while he was the opposition leader, Center to Combat Corruption and Cronyism said. The anti-graft watchdog said Anwar’s claim that the government had “no choice” but to continue with the project was unsettling in light of its inaction in holding the perpetrators of this scandal to account.
