Anwar minta Asean cari pendekatan baharu tangani krisis Myanmar

Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim mahu Asean mencari kaedah lain untuk menangani krisis Myanmar. – Gambar Pejabat Perdana Menteri, 12 Februari, 2023.

“Konflik Myanmar nampaknya tidak akan selesai dalam masa terdekat melainkan Asean menyemak semula, mengenai apa, itu kita perlu bincangkan. “Memandangkan Indonesia mengetuai , mungkin dalam satu atau dua minggu akan datang saya akan bertemu dengan Presiden Indonesia Jokowi dan memberi pandangan saya mengenai apa yang berlaku dan meminta pandangannya serta merangka strategi baharu,” katanya.

Mengenai konflik selatan Thailand, Anwar menegaskan Malaysia akan “melakukan apa sahaja yang diperlukan” untuk memudahkan proses damai.
