IPOH: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim launched the MySaveFood project in Ipoh after he visited the Taman Perpaduan Ramadan bazaar on Monday.
In a statement by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry, it stated that four locations in Perak have been chosen for the Ramadan Rahmah bazaars.
“The involvement of young people, especially students, in making the project a success reflects a high level of awareness to avoid food wastage,” it said. “The unsold food and drinks were collected by volunteers and donated to higher education institutions students, the homeless and the needy,” it said.
