Singgah makan tengah hari sambil beramah mesra dengan masyarakat sebelum menunaikan solat Jumaat di masjid berhampiran adalah rutin mingguan Anwar sejak dilantik sebagai perdana menteri pada 24 November lepas. Selain wakil pelajar perdana menteri turut ditemani Naib Canselor UKM Prof Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman serta barisan kepimpinan tertinggi dan pengurusan universiti.
