KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim wished members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) a happy 216th Police Day.
He also expressed his appreciation of all police personnel for their service and devotion to the people and country.
“The sacrifice of PDRM members in safeguarding and preserving national security will be remembered forever,” he said in a post on his Facebook page, Bernama reported.Separately, MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong also extended his wishes to all police personnel in conjunction with the special day.
“I would like to thank all police personnel for their hard work and sacrifice in keeping the country safe.“Thank you for all your services and sacrifices in maintaining sovereignty, peace and public safety in our beloved Malaysia,” the Ayer Hitam MP said in a Facebook post.
