A self-styled warrior against “woke” corporations has become the latest Republican to challenge Donald Trump for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
| US biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, who has railed against “woke” investing based on environmental, social and governance principles, has launched a battle for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
Vivek Ramaswamy’s criticisms are starting to get some traction, but he has not yet held elected office and does not have a national profile in politics..He did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment. But he has been meeting power brokers and giving speeches in Iowa and key states, highlighting his belief that the US has moved away from its founding values.
