Canada with another good performance in a 4\u002D0 exhibition win against Morocco as they head towards 2023 FIFA Women\u0027s World Cup.
Morocco, who made it to the final of the African Women’s Cup of Nations in July, losing to South Africa, frustrated Canada, particularly in the first half, by sitting back in a defensive formation.
The game was the second of two in the current women’s international window. Canada defeated Argentina 2-0 on Thursday in Spain. The players will now return to their respective clubs and reconvene in mid-November for a pair of games against yet-to-be-named opponents.
