Australian food and beverage delivery company CoLab has collapsed “due to unforeseen events”, leaving customers and staff members in the dark. 7NEWS
CoLab was the result of a merge between ChefPrep and Co-lab Pantry, with the company born from a “shared frustration of mass manufactured ready-made meals and food delivery services,” according to its website.
Chief executive Dany Milham broke the news to staff on Tuesday, revealing the service would stop later this week, according to an email seen by 7NEWS.com.au. “Since we announced our structural changes in February, economic and capital market conditions have continued to deteriorate, and while the business has continued to perform well, we feel strongly that this is the right decision in the current environment.”
