Sky News Business Reporter Edward Boyd says Australia’s annual inflation rate jumped higher than expected in November, lifting to 7.4 per cent.
“It won’t be another four weeks until we get the December numbers, but clearly, inflation in Australia is still slowly rising throughout
the rest – back end of 2022,” Mr Boyd said.“So we’re going to continue to see inflation lifting gap over the course of the rest of last year.”
