Atlantic Superstore locations in Annapolis Valley are collecting food and cash donations for community food banks. - SaltWire NetworkNEW MINAS, N.S. — Atlantic Superstore locations in Annapolis Valley are collecting food and cash donations for local food banks from March 30 to April 16. The New Minas Superstore is collecting donations for the Fundy Interchurch Food Bank and Canning Area Food Bank, and the Kingston Superstore is helping the Upper Room Food Bank Association.
Additionally, Your Independent Grocer stores throughout the valley are collecting donations for local food banks in their communities. Those looking to donate are encouraged to give non-perishable foods like wholegrain cereals, peanut butter, pasta and pasta sauces, canned fish, meat, vegetables and fruits, baby formula and shelf-stable milk products.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
