Paul Lalonde and Christine Igot introduced the film In the Footsteps of Dugua de Mons Feb. 22 at King's Theatre in Annapolis Royal. Lalonde played Dugua de Mons during the introduction and in a question and answer session following the film. Igot, chairperson of the Annapolis Royal Twinning Committee with Royan, France, translated and transcribed the documentary in preparation for subtitles.

“As Paul said, The Habitation is basically dedicated to the story of Dugua de Mons, and we have thousands of visitors that come there every year, and come to this area,” she said. “And we’re going to have this new panel in Annapolis Royal that will also talk about Dugua de Mons. They talk more about him in Quebec now that they are more familiar with his history.”
“We don't have enough money, but we are going to have copies in our library, local libraries, schools,” she said. “We'll make DVD copies of it. They aren’t that expensive to make. We’ll make a sleeve, and we’ll send them out with notes and we’ll encourage history teachers to talk about Dugua de Mons. Ask me to come and talk about Dugua de Mons.”
