They each serve two-year terms while continuing to represent their district. Under the mayoralty system, the electorate votes on the mayor, who serves a four-year term.
“As far as I’m concerned, the citizens of the county have spoken and they’re looking for six districts and a mayor and that’s what I’ll be voting for,” he said.
