Looks fun! 🥳 WhatsApp AnimatedEmojis TechNave
First spotted by WABetaInfo, the animated emojis were developed using the Lottie Library and offer a new element of humour to WhatsApp chats. In case you’re not familiar, Lottie is an optimised library that lets designers easily create animations.
It is found that animated emojis will be sent by default when the animated version of a certain emoji is available. While it was only spotted on the desktop version, WhatsApp is currently working on bringing the feature to the iOS and Android versions of the app in a future update. No release date has been given just yet, so we just have to wait for an update from WhatsApp. In the meantime, make sure to stay tuned to TechNave for the latest on this, as well as for the latest trending tech news!
