The album was mixed by Neal Pogue, who has previously worked with artists such as Outkast, Kaytranada and Tyler, The Creator. Shauf also enlisted story editor Nicholas Olson to help refine the album’s storyline., “Telephone,” was released on Jan. 18, along with a music video directed by Calgary-based singer-songwriter and animator Chad VanGaalen.
In 2020, Andy Shauf’s song “Neon Skyline” landed on former U.S. president Barack Obama's summer playlist, alongside the likes of Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Wonder.
