Bianca Andreescu is off to the Libema Open final after a 6-4, 6-2 win over Hungary ’s Dalma Galfi on Saturday.
She will next face the winner between two-time defending champion Ekaterina Alexandrova and No. 2 seed Liudmila Samsonova from the other semifinal. Their match was suspended due to rain after each player won a set apiece, with play to resume Sunday morning. Andreescu defeated four-time Grand Slam title winner Naomi Osaka 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 in Friday’s quarterfinal to advance to the semifinal.
