U.S. passenger\u002Drail operator Amtrak is restarting its picturesque Seattle to Vancouver Cascades train after two years of COVID\u002D19 delays.

Canada reopened its border to U.S. tourists on Aug. 9, 2021, and all international visitors last Sept. 7, with requirements that visitors be vaccinated against COVID and submit documentation via its ArriveCan app. Now, starting Sept. 26, the Amtrak Cascades will depart from Seattle’s King Street Station at 7:45 a.m. daily, with scheduled arrival at Vancouver’s Pacific Central Station at 11:45 a.m. The return trip is scheduled to depart Vancouver at 5:45 p.m., arriving in Seattle at 10:10 p.m.
