RUBILEN Amit, the Philippines’ most accomplished female cue artist, has secured her place at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China.
Fellow Filipina Chezka Centeno, who bowed to Liu in the semifinals, joined China’s Yu Han on the podium with a shared third-place finish. The 43-year-old Cebuana wants to add more color to his padded collection of achievements, including three world titles, most recently the WPA Women’s World 9-Ball Championship in New Zealand earlier this year.Carlo Biado blazed a trail for Filipino athletes at the 2017 World Games in Wroclaw, Poland, capturing gold in men’s nine-ball singles.
