Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals over the weekend in the Maritime Junior Hockey League .The Caps resume their pre-season schedule with a Labour Day matinee against the Pictou County Crushers at Credit Union Place’s Gerard Gallant Arena, on Sept. 4 at 1 p.m.
Drew MacIntyre , Anthony Gaudet , who had four points in the two games against Summerside, Owen Sparkes and Eric Mork scored for the Ramblers.Lyam LeBlanc went the distance in goal for the Ramblers, stopping 29 of 30 shots. Josh Smith and Ethan Clark split the game in goal for the Caps. Smith stopped 15 of 17 shots while Clark turned away 11 of 14.Jason Simmonds is a sports editor with SaltWire in Prince Edward Island.
