A major Australian mining company is trying to lure New Zealanders across the ditch after being unable to find Australians to fill roles offering salaries up to $300,000. 7NEWS
-based Mineral Resources has launched an advertising campaign targeting NZ workers in hopes of addressing the skills shortage in the mining industry with its “amazing incentives”.Watch the latest News on Channel 7 or stream for free on“When you work at Mineral Resources in Western Australia, taking home a great pay packet is guaranteed,” one of the advertisements says.
One of the highest paying roles on offer is construction supervisors and superintendents who can earn up to $300,000 a year.
