An Adelaide man, 31, is facing two serious charges after his passenger, 34, dies in a crash in the Adelaide Hills.

After allegedly recording a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.145, the driver, 31, from Wynn Vale was arrested ."We had Major Crash investigators attend and they subsequently arrested and charged the driver," she said.He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in April. So far this year, 20 people have died on South Australia's roads, compared to six at the same time last year.

Before yesterday's death, the most recent road fatality was on Monday, from a single-car crash at Ngapala, west of Robertstown, in which a 63-year-old man from Elizabeth North died.
