'You cant unsee that'

The incident happened around 3:05 p.m. Friday said Jason Church, who manages Church's Supermarket & Esso.He intended to check his video Monday for evidence, but said his 12-year-old son, who was out in the yard riding his bike, saw the incident.

The man driving a blue truck had pulled into the gas pumps with the dog supposedly still being towed. “God I am glad I didn’t see it. I'm really sad my son saw it. He had a panic attack. He passed out,” Church said, adding his son was better Saturday and Sunday and wasn’t as fixated on it.Reports on social media say there was a trail of blood on the roadway.“It boggles my mind, I can tell you that.”

Church had heard reports he dog was on a long lead, around 20 feet. He said he finds it hard to believe if the dog fell out of the truck bed by mistake that the driver wouldn’t notice.Reports had the man swerving around cars by the store and throwing the dog in the back of the truck and heading towards Sydney.
