Woman on bus who told Indigenous man he was incapable of looking after child may have called 911, according to one witness.

A man who witnessed an alleged assault by Vancouver police on an Indigenous man in front of his baby daughter said the child received minor head abrasions as a result.

Sean Veley, a Vancouver performer who goes by the name Myth, told Glacier Media he was on the bus with Mountain. He said “the woman wouldn’t stop talking” despite several requests for her to stop. Veley said the passenger just rebuked those requests.Veley said at one point the woman “called out 911.”
