Jacinta Allan has launched an extraordinary attack on the Victorian Greens, accusing the party of stoking racial division in the community by attempting to “politicise grief” from the conflict in Gaza.

Victoria n Premier Jacinta Allan has launched an extraordinary attack on the Victoria n Greens , accusing them of creating"division" in Melbourne by"politicising grief" from the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

“We are not responsible for foreign affairs. We are not responsible for defence relationships with other countries. That is the responsibility of the Australian Government and the Australian Parliament. “What we do here in Victoria is provide support to communities who are grieving, and there will be many in our community today who are grieving following the attack in the Middle East overnight.”

However the Victorian Premier said the Greens were simply using the ongoing tragedy in the middle east for their own political gain. After the keffiyeh was banned in Victorian parliament last week, Greens leader Ellen Sandell says she’s wearing the colours of Palestine and 🍉 earrings “in solidarity with the people of Palestine who have come under incredible bombardment from the Israeli military”The Victorian Premier accused the Greens of being responsibile for multiple divisive incidents that have occurred in Victoria in recent months.

“But you know what’s also happening as a result of this conflict, there are many young women in our community today, who are also being verbally attacked simply for wearing a hijab.
