Mittens, toques can be dropped off at the church until Dec. 25
All Nations Church has launched its 7th annual Mountain of Mittens campaign to help ensure no child in Greater Sudbury goes without cold protection this winter.
“Unfortunately, some kids go to school without the proper clothing for the winter season,” the church said in a news release. “ goal is that all Sudbury school children be able to have fun at winter recesses equipped with warm mitts and toques.”1. Knit, crochet, sew or purchase mittens for elementary school age kids 3. Bring them to All Nations Church, 414 St. Raphael St., until Dec. 25.
“Every year this campaign has delivered thousands of mittens and toques to schools and children in need across the Sudbury-Manitoulin District,” the church said in a news release. “All Nations Church needs your help to make this winter warm for all of Sudbury’s children.”
