Algoma Fall Festival hosts musicians, authors, chefs, in a variety of events in October
As the leaves change colours and a crispness comes to the air, it’s time to make plans to go to the 52nd Algoma Fall Festival, with an incredible array of events throughout the month of October, in Sault Ste. Marie.
The show will take place surrounded by the exhibit, “Cobalt, a Mining Town and the Canadian Imagination”, featuring work by the Group of Seven and other Canadian painters of the time. Downie, together with his brother, Tragically Hip’s frontman, Gord Downie, were captivated by the tragic story of Ojibway child Chanie Wenjack and told the story in the incredible multi-media project, The Secret Path.
