The closure began Monday, April 29, and affects the park's playground and tennis court. The path is open for the time being until it sees its reconstruction. Alexander Park in Moncton is receiving new seating and picnic areas, new asphalt walking paths for year-round access to Reade and Jones Street and a new pathway through the passive park area on the east side thanks to upgrade work that kicked off on April 29. - Contributed
