Alex de Minaur has copped a cheeky warning from his partner Katie Boulter after failing to replicate his globe-trotting feat on a title-winning Sunday on grass for the tennis couple. De Minaur will rise to a new career-high world No.7 ranking on the back of his triumph in ‘s-Hertogenbosch while Boulter earned a confidence-boosting triumph in Nottingham following a tough clay-court season.

De Minaur played as the top seed at an ATP Tour event for the first time and humbled all comers, never dropping his set on his way to a 6-2 6-4 victory over Sebastian Korda in the final. “It achieves a new career-high for me, so that’s always a great little bonus,” De Minaur. “My first week on grass couldn’t have gone any better, so I’m looking forward to next week at Queen’s and the whole grass-court season with a smile on my face. I’m glad I was able to get a win here in Holland.
