Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has returned to the set of the unfinished film Rust 18 months after he accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

The Oscar-nominated actor revealed via Instagram that he was currently in Montana to “complete Rust”.

The revolver allegedly discharged in the actor’s hand and mortally wounded Halyna Hutchins on set in New Mexico. The 65-year-old actor was initially facing up to five years in prison on criminal charges over the tragic death.Baldwin avoided criminal charges over Ms Hutchins' death.
