Prime Minister Anthony Albanese says he wants to act “as soon as possible” in Alice Springs amid the crime crisis in the town.
Mr Albanese’s remarks come as Central Australia regional controller Dorelle Anderson is expected to submit a report today on the Alice Springs alcohol crisis to the Northern Territory and federal governments.
“I want not to delay, but I also understand that some of these issues are intergenerational,” Mr Albanese said during a media conference on Wednesday.
